劇情介紹 Summary
曾紅極一時的驚悚劇作家席妮．布羅，遭逢著文思枯竭、經濟拮据之雙重危機。她的學生凡妮莎‧安德森寄來了一份前途無量的劇本《死劫》。她丈夫西索．布羅深感機不可失，敦促席妮尋求與凡妮莎合筆的機會。然而除了合作之外，席妮似乎在暗中籌畫些什麼；一個邪惡的念頭佔據了這位驚悚劇作家的腦袋：「如此我便能獨佔劇本了。」
Living in a well-decorated colonial style house, a once famous and successful thriller playwright, Sidney Bruhl, is currently undergoing a rather dry period of creation. Both she and her husband, Cecil Bruhl, know that their finances have become a problem. When a newly-finished promising thriller arrives in Sidney’s mail box, Cecil notices that it is a chance they cannot afford to miss. The thriller, Deathtrap, is written by Vanessa Anderson, a student from Sidney’s seminar. However, Sidney seems to be planning for more than just collaboration. In fact, a tempting idea takes over Sidney’s murder planning mind: to have this splendid script under her own name.

Sidney Bruhl

Cecil Bruhl
